Energy and infrastructure form the backbone of modern civilization. From the earliest caves and treehouses to today’s cities, buildings, factories, roads, bridges, ships, airplanes, drones, data centers, and space rockets — these are the physical expressions of human progress. Energy, and particularly electricity, powers this ever-expanding infrastructure.
Today, artificial intelligence is dramatically accelerating the demand for electricity, pushing the world toward a future of near-zero marginal cost of intelligence.
At the same time, the extraordinary success of fossil energy and infrastructure development over the past century has brought us to an unprecedented climate crisis. We now stand at a critical crossroads — where challenge and opportunity meet. The path forward is clear: we must rapidly scale sustainable energy, build resilient and sustainable infrastructure, and decarbonize the global economy within the next few decades to avoid the worst impacts of climate change.
The rise of Climate, Energy, and Hard Tech is not optional — it is inevitable. This is the defining mission of our time, and for the next century.
The CEH Challenge
With few exceptions — such as purely software-driven solutions — Climate, Energy, and Hard Tech (CEH) companies typically require longer development timelines and significantly higher capital investment to reach commercial readiness. This makes it inherently more difficult to attract investors with limited time horizons, where even a seven-year horizon is considered short.
Raising capital is especially challenging while these companies remain privately held and lack liquidity.
The problem is further compounded by the fact that, after years of experimentation, iteration, and de-risking, many CEH companies need tens or hundreds of millions of dollars to build their first-of-a-kind (FOAK) commercial projects — precisely at the moment when early capital is depleted and investor patience is wearing thin. This is the infamous “Valley of Death”: a prolonged period of darkness before dawn, where the path forward often feels indefinitely uncertain.
Make no mistake, however — there is sunshine ahead for both the founders and humanity, provided these companies successfully bridge the capital chasm.
The Fusion Park Solution (FPS)
Our solution for CEH companies is simple (but don't confuse it with "easy"-- it came from decades of collective investment and financial market experiences from our partners: we address the companies’ and the investors’ needs at the same time. A successful company should generate superior returns for its investors, period. And without growth and profit, no company will not accomplish its mission or even sustain its operation, and generate investment return of its investors. Our strategy to make such solution possible follows three steps:
First, Rigorously select the CEH company we want to engage with key qualifications including passion, competent, and practical founder and team, breakthrough and defensible IPs, commercialization readiness (TRL 5+), significant addressable market size and product demand urgency, and clear line of sight to be public listed within 2-3 years.
Second, engage with the company for a 12-24 month period, or longer if needed, for immediate financing and all the way to public listing.
Third, with our strategic inputs, industry expertise and financial resources, Fusion Park will prepare the company to present a highly compelling and powerful story for investors; capitalize the company in a timely manner through family offices and institutional investors; advise and supervise the company’s go-public initiative (be it through IPO, or reverse merger to a Special Purpose Acquisition Company, or SPAC, or a public shell) that is expected to substantially increase company valuation, capital availability, and investor liquidity; and, last but not least, raise a pre-public round of financing for the company to complete its FOAK investment or key commercialization milestones.
